OneDrive
Sync OneDrive folders into a collection.
The OneDrive connector brings files from personal or shared Microsoft 365 folders into the Collection.
It shares its authentication base with the SharePoint connector, but points to individual storage instead of site libraries.
Prerequisites
As with SharePoint, two things need to exist first:
- The OneDrive OAuth credentials registered in the organization, under Credentials.
- The domain allowed under Settings › Knowledge Sources.
Configure
After authorizing, select the folders to sync. The connector sees what the authorized account sees, including what was shared with it.
OneDrive or SharePoint
The choice follows where the content actually lives:
- OneDrive for material that belongs to one person or a small group.
- SharePoint for a team's official documentation, in a site library.
Content in a personal OneDrive usually leaves the company along with the person. For knowledge the team depends on, moving it to a SharePoint library before indexing avoids losing the source later.
Next steps
