Access and login
How to sign in to the platform, accept the terms and pick the right organization and workspace.
AUMO uses single sign-on (SSO): you don't create a password on the platform, you sign in with the account your company already uses. The same login works for Admin and Chat.
By the end of this page you will have signed in, understood where you landed, and know what to do when an area shows up empty or locked.
Where the platform lives
AUMO is delivered at an address dedicated to your organization, provided by the AUMO team. Both modules live at that same address:
- Chat: at the root of the address. This is where people talk to Agents.
- Admin: at the
/adminpath. This is where Agents, Collections and Workflows are configured.
You don't need to memorize both addresses. Once you're signed in, the area bar takes you from one to the other without signing in again.
Signing in
When you open the platform while signed out, you are sent straight to your company's identity provider login screen. After you authenticate, the browser returns to AUMO, already inside your organization.
The first time you enter an organization, the platform asks you to accept that organization's Terms of Use. The screen blocks the rest of the platform until you accept, and acceptance is per organization: if you belong to more than one, each asks separately.
If login fails with a warning instead of moving you forward, it is almost always because the authenticated account doesn't belong to any AUMO organization. Use the switch-account action on that screen and sign in with the correct corporate email.
Where you land after login
The platform has no single home screen. Where you land depends on what you can see:
- With organization permissions: you land on the first Organization page your role opens, usually Providers or Workspaces.
- With workspace permissions only: you land on the first workspace page your role opens, usually the Dashboard.
- With neither: you land in Chat, the area available to anyone with access to a workspace.
The platform remembers the last organization and workspace you visited and returns to them next time, including when you jump between Admin and Chat.
Switching organizations
The organization selector sits at the top of the screen. It lists the organizations you belong to and has a search box when there are many.
Switching organizations switches the whole context: workspaces, Agents, Collections and permissions become those of that organization. Your role changes too: you can be an Admin in one and a User in another.
When an area shows up locked
Two cases are common and are not errors:
- You don't belong to any workspace in the organization: the Workspace and Chat areas are disabled. Ask an administrator to add you to a workspace.
- You got here through an organization role, without permission on the current workspace: the Workspace area is still clickable, but it opens the workspace selector instead of the page. Pick a workspace you have access to.
