Confluence

Sync Confluence spaces and pages into a collection.

The Confluence connector brings pages from your Atlassian instance's spaces into the Collection.

It is one of the highest-return connectors, because Confluence usually holds exactly the kind of content a support Agent needs: policies, procedures and recorded decisions.

Prerequisites

  1. The Confluence OAuth credentials registered in the organization, under Credentials.
  2. The instance's domain allowed under Settings › Knowledge Sources.

Configure

The form asks for the Atlassian instance and the spaces to sync. The platform reads the list of available sites from the authorized credential.

When the credential gives access to more than one instance, the selection has to point explicitly at one of them.

Draft pages and personal spaces are included in the sync if they fall within the selected scope. Since Confluence tends to pile up old versions in archive spaces, check the scope before turning on the schedule.

Outdated content

The typical Confluence risk is having two pages on the same subject, one current and one old, both indexed. The Agent finds both and may cite the wrong one.

Restricting the sync to maintained spaces, and excluding archive ones, solves more than tweaking the Agent's prompt afterwards.

Next steps

  • Configure the sibling connector in Jira.
