Members

Who belongs to the organization and to each workspace, and with what role.

Belonging to the platform has two levels. Organization › Members is the company's front door; Workspace › Members decides who belongs to each team.

The two add up, and it is common for someone to be a User in the organization and an Owner in a workspace.

Organization members

The screen opens for Superadmin, Admin and, read-only, Auditor. Four columns, Name, Email, Role and Actions, with search by name or email.

To invite someone, click + Member. In the Invite a New Member window, enter the email, choose the role and click Add:

  • Superadmin: full access to the organization.
  • Admin: broad permissions over the organization, without reaching providers, credentials and general settings.
  • Auditor: read-only in the organization menus.
  • User: no permissions in the organization. This is the role for people who only use Chat.

Superadmin and Admin share the same seat limit for the organization, and the counter shows next to each one in the role list. When the limit runs out, both are disabled in the invitation.

Until the person signs in for the first time, the Name column shows their email.

In the narrow bar on the left, click Organization.

The invitation is for the company, not for a workspace. Someone invited as a User gets in but doesn't belong to anything yet, and will see the Workspace and Chat areas disabled until they are added to one.

Adding someone as a User and then including them in the right workspaces is the normal path for most people. Organization roles are for people who run the company, not for people who use the platform.

Workspace members

The screen is accessible to the Owner; the Auditor sees it read-only.

You can only add people who already belong to the organization. Anyone not yet invited has to go through the organization screen first.

The workspace roles are:

  • Owner: full access, including Integrations, API keys and deleting the workspace.
  • Curator: creates Collections, Agents, Workflows, MCPs and Variables, and reads the Dashboard, Conversations, Feedback and Quotas.
  • Editor: the same creation power as the Curator, without the monitoring and settings screens.
  • Auditor: read-only across most of the workspace.
  • User: no administration screens. Chats in Chat.

Who doesn't show up in the list

Superadmin, Admin and Auditor organization roles reach any workspace without being on its member list.

If someone edits things in a workspace and you can't find them under Members, that is how.

Change and remove

The action menu lets you change the role and remove the person, on both screens.

The difference is in the reach: removing someone from the workspace takes away access to that team, and the person stays in the company. Removing them from the organization takes away access to everything, including every workspace they belonged to.

A role change applies immediately, the next time the person's screen loads.

Export

The organization screen has two icon buttons next to + Member. Import members invites several people at once from a file. Export members downloads the list as CSV or JSON, the practical path for access reviews and periodic audits.
