Workspace settings
The workspace's name, visibility and deletion.
Settings › General is the workspace's short screen: identity, visibility and the deletion zone.
It is accessible to the Owner; the Auditor sees it read-only.
Identity
- Workspace name: editable through the icon next to the value. It is how the workspace shows up in the selector and in the organization's list.
- Created at: the creation date, read-only.
Changing the name doesn't change the workspace's identifier in the URL. Existing links keep working.
Visibility
The Visibility switch toggles the workspace between public and restricted within the organization.
Public means visible to non-members, not accessible to anyone. Permission is still decided by role: someone who isn't a member and doesn't have a Superadmin, Admin or Auditor organization role can't get in.
Visibility is about discovery, not access control. To actually restrict who reaches the workspace, what counts is the Members list and the organization roles.
Workspace deletion
The deletion section is collapsed and highlighted in red, at the bottom of the screen.
Deleting a workspace removes access to everything that lives inside it: Collections, Agents, Workflows, Variables and the conversation history.
Deletion can't be undone through the interface. Deleted workspaces keep showing up in the organization's list with the Workspace deleted badge, but the content doesn't come back.
Before deleting, check two things. Whether any Agent in that workspace is in use by people from other teams, and whether there are Collections worth recreating elsewhere, because there is no export between workspaces.
Next steps
- Control who belongs in Members.
- Understand what the workspace receives from the company in Workspaces.
