Input
The required starting point, which defines the form filled in by the person running the flow.
The Input node is the flow's entry point. It declares the variables the Workflow needs to receive to start, and each declared variable becomes a field in the run form.
Every flow has exactly one Input node, and it can't be removed.
Declare variables
In the side panel you add one variable per piece of information the flow needs. Each has a name, a type and a description.
On the canvas, the node shows the list of configured variables, so you can check the flow's contract without opening the panel.
The name and the description reach the screen of the person running the flow. order_number with the description "Order number, without punctuation" produces a usable form; input_1 with no description doesn't.
Use them in the following nodes
The variables are available to every node in the flow, in the {{ entrada.variable_name }} format.
Analyze customer {{ entrada.customer_name }}'s request
about order {{ entrada.order_number }}.In fields that accept variables, the / key opens the selection menu.
Files
When the flow processes documents, the Input receives the file and hands it to the File extractor node, which converts it to text.
Connecting the Input straight to an LLM node without going through the extractor doesn't work: the model receives a reference to the binary, not the content.
