Send email
Send messages over SMTP from the flow.
The Send email node sends messages over SMTP during the run. It is for notifying someone or delivering a report the flow generated.
It doesn't configure a sender. It only lists the credentials already registered for the workspace.
Prerequisites
The setup happens outside the canvas, at two levels:
- The organization needs an SMTP credential registered.
- An administrator creates the email credential for that workspace, under Organization › Workspaces › Email credentials.
Without an available credential, the node fails at run time, not at build time. The canvas accepts the flow, publishing works, and the error only shows up when someone runs it.
Recipients
Three fields, each accepting several addresses:

CC | Receive a copy visible to the others. |
BCC | Receive a copy without the others knowing. |
The addresses accept variables, which lets you send to whoever the flow determined instead of a fixed list.
Content
- Subject: the message title.
- Body (text): the plain-text version.
- HTML body: the formatted version, with links and tables.
Filling in both covers email clients that block HTML.
Attachments
Files are attached by the file's public URL. A document produced by the File generator node can be attached this way.
