Introduction to Credentials
Credentials are authentication information required to access external services or APIs on the Aumo platform. They enable you to configure and manage different types of credentials securely and centrally.
What are Credentials?
Credentials are authentication data (such as API keys, tokens, passwords, etc.) used to access external services or resources on the platform. Each credential can be associated with different types of services and can be reused in various contexts within the organization.

- Add new credentials: Configure different types of credentials for external services
- Manage existing credentials: View, edit, and manage the credentials that have already been configured
- Organize by type: Categorize credentials by type for easier management

Types of Credentials
The Aumo platform supports different types of credentials, each with its own specific configurations and requirements. The process of creating credentials is divided into two main steps:
- Type Selection: Choose the type of credential you wish to create
- Detail Configuration: Fill in the necessary information for the selected credential
Supported External Services
The Aumo platform allows integration with various external services through credentials, including:
- Google Drive / Organizational Google Drive: Integrate with Google Drive to access documents and folders
- Confluence Cloud: Connect to Confluence to import pages and knowledge spaces
- Jira Cloud: Integrate with Jira to access tickets and project documentation
- SharePoint / OneDrive: Connect to Microsoft 365 to access libraries and documents
- Web Scraper / Custom APIs: Configure integrations with custom APIs using API keys or Bearer tokens
- MCP Servers: Set up MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to extend the capabilities of assistants with external tools
- AI Studio: Integrate with external AI services to expand processing and analysis functionalities
These credentials can be reused in Knowledge Sources, Knowledge Collections, MCPs, and other workflows that require authentication with external services, allowing for a centralized and secure integration with your organization's systems.
