File Upload and Analysis

Uploading Files

You can upload files for analysis by the assistant:

  1. Click the upload button (attachment icon) in the message field.
  2. Select the file you wish to upload.
  3. The file will be processed and included in the context of the conversation.

Supported File Types

The platform supports various file formats, including:

  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, MD
  • Spreadsheets: XLS, XLSX, CSV
  • Presentations: PPT, PPTX
  • Audio: MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC
  • Images for supported models: JPG, JPEG, PNG
  • Other text formats like JSON and .py

Working with Multiple Projects

Selecting a Project

Each project can have different settings:

  1. Click on the name of the current project in the sidebar.
  2. The project dropdown will be displayed.
  3. Use the search field to filter projects (optional).
  4. Select the desired project.
  5. The context will change to the selected project.

Differences Between Projects

Different projects can have:

  • Different Assistants: Each project can use a specific assistant.
  • Knowledge Sources: Different documents and databases.
  • Customized Settings: Specific behaviors and capabilities.

Choosing an Assistant

You can select from different available assistants:

  1. Click on the name of the current assistant in the header.
  2. The assistant dropdown will be displayed.
  3. Use the search field to filter assistants (optional).
  4. Select the desired assistant.
  5. The assistant will be changed for the current conversation.

Differences Between Assistants

Each assistant can have:

  • Different Settings: Specific AI models, parameters, and behaviors.
  • Knowledge Sources: Access to different knowledge bases.
  • Specialties: Assistants may specialize in different areas.

Organizations

Switching Between Organizations

If you have access to multiple organizations:

  1. Scroll to the end of the sidebar.
  2. Click on the name of the current organization.
  3. Select the desired organization.

Context by Organization

Each organization maintains:

  • Separate Projects: Organization-specific project list.
  • Isolated History: Conversations organized by organization.
  • Own Settings: Specific preferences and configurations.

Productivity Tips

1. Use Smart Suggestions

Question suggestions are based on the project context. Use them to:

  • Discover what you can ask.
  • Understand the capabilities of the assistant.
  • Start conversations quickly.

2. Reference Previous Messages

In long conversations, you can reference previous messages:

  • "Based on the previous response..."
  • "You mentioned that..."
  • "Returning to the topic about..."

3. Organize by Project

Use different projects for different contexts:

  • One project for technical documentation.
  • Another for general questions.
  • Another for specific analyses.

4. Use Search Effectively

Searching the history helps to:

  • Find information from previous conversations.
  • Review past discussions.
  • Locate specific references.

Keyboard Shortcuts

The platform supports various keyboard shortcuts:

  • Enter: Send message.
  • Shift + Enter: New line in the text field.

Troubleshooting

Messages Not Sending

If your messages are not being sent:

  1. Check your internet connection.
  2. Reload the page.
  3. Look for errors in the browser console.

Files Not Loading

If the files are not being processed:

  1. Check the file size (there is a 20MB limit).
  2. Confirm that the format is supported.
  3. Try again after a few seconds.

History Not Loading

If the history does not appear:

  1. Ensure you are in the correct project.
  2. Reload the page.
  3. Clear your browser cache if necessary.
