Knowledge Sources
Knowledge Sources are connectors that integrate external data sources with the Aumo platform, allowing you to import, process, and organize documents from different origins for use in AI assistants and search systems.
Overview
Knowledge Sources allow you to:
- Integrate external sources: Connect Google Drive, Confluence, Jira, websites, and more
- Import documents: Synchronize files automatically or manually
- Organize content: Group documents into collections for easier access
- Automate synchronization: Set up schedules to keep data updated
- Automatically process: Documents are extracted, indexed, and ready for search
Available Source Types
The Aumo platform supports the following types of knowledge sources:
1. Google Drive
- Description: Connects to your Google Drive account
- Usage: Imports files and folders that your Drive account has access to
- Requirements: A service account created in Google and credential configured in the AUMO platform.
2. Organizational Google Drive
- Description: Connects to organizational Google Drive using a service account
- Usage: Accesses files that a specific organizational email has access to
- Requirements: A service account created in Google and credential configured in the AUMO platform.
3. Web Scraper
- Description: Extracts content from websites
- Usage: Imports web pages and their content to the platform
- Requirements: Website URL and type of extraction (single page or all related pages)
4. Upload
- Description: Manual upload of files
- Usage: Send files directly to the platform
- Requirements: Files in supported formats
5. Confluence
- Description: Integrates with Confluence spaces and pages
- Usage: Synchronizes Confluence documentation
- Requirements: Confluence credentials configured
6. Jira
- Description: Integrates with Jira tickets and documentation
- Usage: Imports tickets and documentation from Jira
- Requirements: Jira credentials configured
Accessing Knowledge Sources
To access Knowledge Sources:
- Navigate to the Projects section in the side menu
- Select the desired project
- Click on Knowledge Source in the project's side menu
Creation Process
Creating a new knowledge source involves two steps:
- Source type: Select the type of source you want to create
- Source detail: Configure the specific information for the chosen type
