Knowledge Sources
Knowledge Sources are connectors that integrate external data sources with the Aumo platform, allowing you to import, process, and organize documents from different origins for use in AI assistants and search systems.
Overview
Knowledge Sources enable you to:
- Integrate external sources: Connect Google Drive, Confluence, Jira, websites, and others
- Import documents: Sync files automatically or manually
- Organize content: Group documents into collections for easier access
- Automate synchronization: Set up schedules to keep data updated
- Process automatically: Documents are extracted, indexed, and ready for search
Available Source Types
The Aumo platform supports the following types of knowledge sources:
1. Google Drive
- Description: Connects to your personal Google Drive account
- Usage: Imports files and folders from your personal Google Drive
- Requirements: Configured Google Drive credentials
2. Organizational Google Drive
- Description: Connects to organizational Google Drive using a service account
- Usage: Accesses files from other users in the organization
- Requirements: Organizational credentials and admin permissions
3. Web Scraper
- Description: Extracts content from websites
- Usage: Imports web pages and their content to the platform
- Requirements: URL of the site and extraction type (single page or all related pages)
4. Upload
- Description: Manual file upload
- Usage: Send files directly to the platform
- Requirements: Files in supported formats
5. Confluence
- Description: Integrates with Confluence spaces and pages
- Usage: Synchronizes Confluence documentation
- Requirements: Configured Confluence credentials
6. Jira
- Description: Integrates with Jira tickets and documentation
- Usage: Imports Jira tickets and documentation
- Requirements: Configured Jira credentials
Accessing Knowledge Sources
To access Knowledge Sources:
- Navigate to the Projects section in the side menu
- Select the desired project
- Click on Knowledge Source in the project's side menu
Creation Process
Creating a new knowledge source is done in two steps:
- Source Type: Select the type of source you want to create
- Source Details: Configure the specific information for the chosen type
